"Aretusa Vacanze was excellent and all the staff were so friendly. The breakfasts were very good and they were enhanced by the excellent selection of homemade jams. Parking was about 10 minutes walk away for €20/ day in a private lot which was reasonable for the area. "

We were treated with a bottle of wine & pasties for my birthday then thry brought us croissants & cantaloupe on our last day for breakfast. 100% recommend can not fault the property. They even have an adapter fron uk to italian for you to use. Lovely restaurant near the sea and close by... "

"Byssus Suites are situated in the port area of Siracusa in a completely renovated building which offers style, luxury and comfort. Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated and, along with a very comfortable bed, offered a private steam room which we loved. Breakfast was served in the building next door which is part of the hotel and also contains a fish shop and excellent restaurant. "We really enjoyed our two day stay at this hotel. The receptionist (Ileana) was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and immaculately clean. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the historic area close to the sea. The only small difficulty was the fact that the streets around the hotel have restricted access for cars, so we had to walk a few blocks with our luggage. As we came off season, their restaurant was closed. However, there are lots of great restaurants nearby,...

"I chose this location because I had a tour departing from the port at 930A and my bus was arriving from Palermo at 845A. It was a quick 7 minute walk from the bus stop and I was able to drop my bags off and they handed me the keys. Once I came back, I was able to access my room. I was on the top floor and it was a clean room with a clean bathroom. I was able to use the washing machine as well. Doors were tricky to lock but they show you. The only thing as other reviews have said, the stairs...

"Packed apartment for a family of 4 but it just fits with dining area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. Very nice big swimming pool and just cross the street to go to the beach and walk in 30 minutes to the Scala dei Turchei. If you have a 1st floor apartment on the 'backside' of the accomodation be aware of the street noise and that you have to climb stairs to get in your apartment."
