Great stay

Very nice hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The recommendations for the restaurants and activities in the area were useful and nice. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of options and all products were super fresh. Highly recommend this hotel!

Probably the best hotel we stayed in in Sicily. Gorgeous, stylish, fully updated and spacious rooms. Fantastic seafood restaurant attached to the hotel that also is where breakfast is served. Town is a short walk away. great service

Spacious rooms. Super nice and helpful staff. Very convenient location. Everything was great. Highly recommend it to visit Siracusa and Ortigia. Breakfast was lovely and the waitress it was such a sweetheart.

We’ll be back!

Stunning hotel with beautiful staff always happy to see you and keen to help. Quiet and peaceful location, the hotel is between the archeological park (which the hotel gave us bikes free of charge to ride to) and ortigia island. Great breakfast and as an extra surprise our beautiful room even had a sauna! We would stay here again and again.

True Luxe Suites

Some places claim to be luxe or upmarket but Bysuss Suites truly is Luxe ! Undoubtedly the best place stayed at during 6 weeks in Europe. Beautifully appointed and decorated spacious suites within easy walking distance of Ortigia Excellent breakfast - and wonderful staff

A very comfortable place close to the train station . Excellent WiFi and shower . We spent most of our time in Ortegia which is an easy 15 minute walk . It’s also very walkable in the opposite direction to the historic park . We also really liked the attached restaurant, Onda Blue. By the way - The “Seafood Soup” is enough for two !

I would highly recommend the Byssus Suites. The room was very nice and clean. The area is quiet and close to all attractions and easily walkable. They also have a private parking lot if you drive in. The hosts were excellent! The fish market with restaurant next door is excellent. Thanks for the great hospitality!

The hotel was clean and modern. The staff was very polite and attentive. My only criticism is it wasn’t located in a great part of town. It was safe, very close to the police station, but it is a little away from the more desirable parts of town.

Hotel was great, clean, friendly, accommodating, location was great, and best dining option there! The one thing I didn’t like was our room had no windows, just skylights. I’m claustrophobic so this freaked me out.

We had an excellent stay at Byssus Suites. The room was very large with very modern finishings. I required gluten-free options for breakfast and they went out of their way to cater. Never before have I received such an effort to ensure that there were lots of gluten-free options available. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. The area is about a 10 minute walk to Ortigia which made everything very accessible. I would highly recommend Byssus Suites for your stay in Syracuse

Byssus Suites are situated in the port area of Siracusa in a completely renovated building which offers style, luxury and comfort. Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated and, along with a very comfortable bed, offered a private steam room which we loved. Breakfast was served in the building next door which is part of the hotel and also contains a fish shop and excellent restaurant. There was a big selection of food offered for breakfast, individually prepared eggs etc. and excellent barista coffee. The car was parked in a protected space behind the hotel but we were able to come and go as we pleased. we walked to the old area of Ortegia on the first day which was a long walk but well worth it. Siracusa is a fascinating city and this was a great base from which to explore it. We ate in the restaurant three times because the fish was outstanding. There is also an excellent family run restaurant on the other side of the hotel which we loved for both the food and the welcome. Great hotel with very helpful staff.

A must visit accommodation.

The accommodation did not disappoint. Immaculate spacious rooms with brilliant air-conditioning which was much needed in the July heat. The breakfast was great with good choice. All the staff could not do enough for us and were so friendly with my Wife and I. Would definitely recommend.

Nice vibe, friendly, feels newly redone. Very short drive into the historic center. Syracuse is not a fancy city to drive into but once we got there we had a great time and really liked the hotel. Great breakfast.

Excellent experience with incredibly attentive staff. The room was delightful and just what we needed. The parking was easily accessible even though one needs to drive around the block to get there, but it’s just behind the hotel - very convenient. The breakfast was excellent and again served very attentively in the same space that, at night, is used for the Onda Blu high level fish-focused restaurant (10% off too as hotel clients). Don’t be fooled by the “fish market” designation on Google Maps - it is that too (and the fish is superb) but it’s very much a restaurant too! Plan to be back here when we return the next time

FANTASTIC!!! What a gem of a find. Wonderful young man at the front (Nicolas? I already forgot). He took care, and I mean he cared, about everything he could help with. Great customer care and personality. Loved the room and view out the back window. Quiet, clean, comfy, and within walking distance to Ortegia and / or the hop on hop off bus. Great restaurants in the area. Highly recommend Crudo!

The most elegant and small hotel ever

Don't even think twice. The place is not just nice. It is wonderful. It is brand new, With very specious rooms, architected with the outmost elegance and quality. High ceilings, wonderful colors, magnificent original furniture. And when you think you got it all, there is more... They own a fish restaurant next door, that it will probably be the best fish restaurant you will ever experience. The reason is, that this restaurant is also THE major fish supplier in Syracuse from what we were told. And if you are lucky to get the room with the specious veranda - as we did - then you will have the experience of a lifetime.
