"Establishment is the perfect mix of hostel life and people who want their own private rooms, although the private rooms are very small. Pool is wonderful (and open until 10!), and the bar and food are great! Location, location, location. Very close to the beach and Bangla Rd. People from all over stay here. To watch the pool area, you feel like you are watching Club MTV, that American TV show from the 80s where it is always Spring Break. Yet the music is never too loud and the room is pretty...

"Just awesome! Had the best stay at Liv Hotel. So clean and tidy. The staff were amazing (special mention to the bar guy, Smart and manager, Nick) and the restaurant had yummy food - especially their mango sticky rice was to die for! Walkable distance to the markets and many restaurants nearby. Beach view was the highlight! Thank you Liv. We will definitely be back again :)"

"Stayed in a Deluxe room with Balcony for 8 nights. Good size room with large bed and safe but limited number of clothes hangers for two people. Issues with aroma from bathroom and water not hot but good pressure. Enjoyed a pleasant break in a good location which was surprisingly quiet considering the numerous hotels located in the Soi. Small swimming pool on the roof. 1.3 metres depth with towels available from reception. "

Pros: inexpensive, breakfast included, shower hot water and good pressure, beds large, fridge cold, lots of inexpensive restaurants, shops, convenience stores nearby. Cons: location far from beachfront and Bangla Road, breakfast buffet has eggs, meat, beans, rice, but otherwise limited (no fruit or yogurt), shower is small and water will go over bathroom floor if not careful, rooms are worn and older, fridge is small,...
