"The condo is clean, next to a great swimming and snorkel beach, and has everything you need (pots, dishes, towels etc.). The property itself is old and needs some work, but the condo has been remodeled beautifully. I would recommend a small AC unit for the hot afternoons, but the evenings did cool off nicely. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"It was a lovely place to stay, the host was great, answered all my questions and the place was very clean. A very safe residential neighborhood, the highway is a little bit away, but the ocean is closer and every day you can go out on your balcony/porch and watch the whales and the dolphins."

"If only we could have stayed longer! We had booking the glamping unit, but because of water issues Theresa switched us to the Bungalow, which was so cosy. She agreed alternative breakfast arrangements as we had to leave early on checkout. We only had time to meet the chickens and ducks at the doorstep, but we saw the donkey and goats sheltering from the rain! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're making a trip to Volcano NP. "

"If you want an experience and not a hotel, this is a good place to consider. Don’t complain if you wanted a Marriott; it’s not the Marriott. The hostess and host are kind and genuine. The lodging is nestled in a neighborhood, but it feels almost like a jungle. The shower is outside and is reasonably private. Don’t mind the geckos lingering nearby as you enjoy fresh fruit for breakfast."

"The staff was amazing. Within minutes of check in, we had our dining mapped out for our four-day stay. The breakfasts delivered to our cottage (discreetly) were very good! We didn’t get to take advantage of their pack lunches for hikes, but will next time. Loved it!"

"Hands-down the best place we stayed during our 2.5 week trip to Hawaii! Barry and Jim were wonderful hosts, we were greeted by Barry as soon as we arrived! He helped get us settled in and showed us around the cabin. The cabin comes stocked with breakfast items, coffee, and fresh fruits! It is located close to Volcanos National Park, so it was perfect for my husband and I since we love hiking! The cabin was spotless and the bed was very comfortable! There is a park along the water just across the street where it is nice to take a walk and families have picnics in the evening. The restaurant on the property has decent food and nice service. "Great clean quaint lodge. Beautiful outlook in very quiet area. Special touch of fruit and goodies for breakfast and a huge bottle of water daily as water is not potable in the Volcano region.
