The lodge is a wonderful, quiet place to stay while visiting Volcanoes National Park. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and absolutely spotless. The beds are comfortable and the location is very quiet and peaceful. Hot tub available but we didn't use. Welcome was warm. Lounge outside the room provided space to meet other guests and chat in front of warming fire. Highly recoomend if you are visiting VNP.

The room was very nice, although, because of the fireplace, it smelled of wood smoke. The bathroom was clean, spacious, and we really appreciated the towel warmer. I love everything about this place.We had the most delicious meals in their restaurant during our Hawaii trip!The staff was very nice as well.I will definitely stay in this beautiful hotel again next time I visit Volcano National Park.
