"We loved our 2 rooms here. Beds were super comfortable, amenities were fantastic, food was tasty, we liked the history and decor, & we had great rooms with garden views. It was also nice to say someplace right next to the train station (especially since we brought my senior parents) and have the option of leaving luggage and exploring the city before check in / not taking your luggage all over town. "The hotel was very calm and quiet. Room was comfortable and clean. The 415 bus to York was easy to access. A good choice available for breakfast. Evening mesls st the Fat Abbott pub were fantastic. Lovely pub with great good. Cloisters Spa was really good and i enjoyed an excellent full body swedish massage. Excellent. Relaxing 2 night stay, just what I needed. "
