"Beach view from room was stunning, but windows desperatley needed cleaning. Lots of tea and coffee which can easily be replenished at reception (staff were much better this time!) ; rooms aren't tidied unless you request it, which I really liked as you're not disturbed. Location is fantastic, over 100 steps down to the beach but there is a public lift for about £1:50 return, or a number 2 bus every hour which drops you outside the hotel from the sea-front. " Staff were friendly , polite and helpful. The property is situated about an 8-10 minute walk it felt safe and was a nice stroll. The rooms are exquisite, a lot of work has gone into making everywhere look effortlessly stylish Breakfast was delicious, beautiful ingredients and beautifully presented, nothing was too much trouble. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and will tell anyone with ears about how wonderful it is."

"Nice big room and large bathroom. Decorated and fitted out nicely, although a little tired in some areas. Lovely clean, comfy beds and lots of hot water for a shower. Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Excellent breakfast and a great location. All in all, we had a great time and will definitely book again."

"Lovely room with a spectacular view. Food good tho’ wine a little pricey - you’re a bit of a captive audience up there. Parking fine. Nice walking nearby, with the seal colony a special treat (not to close tho, eh?) Nice staff. Clean and shiny inside. "
