"The staff were very welckming on reception.and in the dinng area but however i found there was too much noise going on while we were here not sure what was going on it appeared to be some renovation work but it kept us awake for 2 out of 3 nights also it was very hot for sleeping breakfast was very good didnt disappoint and staff were great "

"The room was very clean and we even got a surprise upgrade to a triple bedroom which allowed us to have more space. It had everything you needed from a fan to toiletries to housekeeping on request. The lady who looked after us was lovely and even let us check in a little early as we arrived earlier than planned. She greeted us warmly each day and explained everything we would need. Everyone we spoke to was welcoming and it only took a few minutes walk before we were in the heart of the city...

"Middlethorpe Hall is peaceful beautiful elegant country House full of charm. The surroundings inside and out are spectacular. The staff discreetly attentive and charming. Dining options allow formal or informal dining. The Spa offers good quality treatments and the whole experience left me refreshed, relaxed and delighted to have spent time there. Excellent and unique."

"If you want a relaxed break this is a great hotel to book, just come back from a weekend away. What a joy to stay somewhere with such amazing staff. Room was lovely very clean comfy bed. Great breakfast we also dined in the restaurant and bar which was really nice. Had a three hour spa to finish off our stay. Will definitely be back."
