"I had such a wonderful experience. The room was very nicely decorated and top of the line. Everything was beautiful, clean, lots of amenities. I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. "I stayed overnight at The Grand York recently and had a lovely experience. I had a late check-in and Nigel (the porter) arranged a table at a lovely restaurant nearby for me. The room was extremely nice (there was one minor issue which I raised with staff the next day, but wasn’t anything major that it detracted from my stay). "A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid.
