We stayed at this guesthouse because it offered rooms suitable for families with children. The room and amenities were comfortable, and the delicious breakfast made us feel truly welcomed. My children were especially delighted with the bunk beds. We would love to stay there again if we have the opportunity.

Beautiful little B&B with very friendly staff and a cute Apple theme. The decor is a little outdated, but it's clean with comfortable beds. Walking distance from the train station and a short walk into town, it's great if you're looking for a budget friendly option to crash in after exploring York all day.

Property is close to the train station, easy reach of shops, restaurants, and a few bars. It's clean, came with breakfast and it's not hugely expensive while doing it

There was nothing to dislike about the Apple House. It was welcoming and friendly, very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent. If I need to stay in a York hotel again, I would choose the Apple House.

Our stay at Apple House was truly exceptional! The hospitality was outstanding, and the breakfasts served each morning were absolutely delicious. To be honest, this bed and breakfast surpassed any four-star hotel we’ve stayed at in England. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the railway station, which made everything so convenient and within easy reach. Highly recommend staying here!

Apple House stay

Excellent guest house with very helpful and friendly staff, bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. I would definitely recommend Apple House for a stay in York. Car Park is very big and easy for parking.

We had a comfortable stay at this property for 4 nights. The location is quite convenient and walkable from the railway station. There are several fast food joints in walkable distance. The owners and staff were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was reasonably good with a decent spread. While we noticed that most of the rooms were quite well maintained, the furnishings in the family room where we stayed were slightly old and run down, so taking one star off the overall rating. At the same time, the bedding and towels provided were very clean. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to stay.

We had a Wonderful stay. Beautiful breakfast, lovely room, free parking and very helpful staff who even let us check in early. We are booking again for in a few months time as it was our best stay yet in york.

The owner Danielle was very welcoming on arrival. We were able to check in early which was very helpful. The breakfast and options were delicious. Rooms were very comfortable and clean though a little tired. Location is spot on for York station and walking to and from town centre. We would happily stay again.
