One of the best vacations I have ever been to. Resort was extremely clean and very spacious. It literally felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves. If you are looking for a resort to relax, have great service, great food and great drinks, this is the place for you. We will definitely be coming back to this resort.

Beautiful property, well maintained, staff incredible very helpful , highly recommended. We were for a week in the premium section in the Rivera Maya only adults. Thumbs up for the excellent costumer service, everyone from the hard working guys that clean the beaches until the management staff. Special Mention to Diego in the reception , Mary the housekeeper, Liliana the waitress (Miramar buffet). Definitely we will be back 💕

The best is the environment. Clean hotel, great with well maintained pools and beach areas. Excellent and prompt attention by the employees and wait staff. The food was just ok. A little above average but the policy of not taking food to the pool areas and no room services was a major letdown for me. And putting a set limit on the thermostat during the hot hot summer was very inconvenient. Overall was good but not perfect!

Barcelo Maya Riviera is hands down our favorite of all inclusive resorts! We stayed in May and again last week. The service is wonderful, rooms lovely and large. Excellent AC and wifi. Plenty of restaurant options. We ate twice at other hotel restaurants( on the Barcelo resort)… but prefer the ones onsite at the Adults only Riviera section. The seaweed was much better contained and cleaned this trip. The pools were very nice… a bit warm though (90-93 F) However, the pool beside the MusicBar was 86 F…. noticeably more refreshing. it has been very hot so far this summer. The only downside to this resort is the distance from the airport (50 mins without traffic). BUT it’s worth it! We will return again and again!

We had an amazing stay at this resort. From the moment we arrived, everything was excellent. The scenery was beautiful, the property was clean and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy ourselves. The food was great throughout our stay, with plenty of options and consistently good quality. The staff was also outstanding — friendly, helpful, and always making sure guests were taken care of. You can tell they take pride in creating a great experience. Between the views, the service, the food, and the overall comfort of the resort, we truly enjoyed every part of our stay. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation.

On arrival the check in was seamless, we arrived after dinner service but had the option to eat at the lobby bar with a selection of sandwiches, buns, sweet pastries and condiments. We loved dining at all the restaurants and booking these was made easy at the guest services desk. The staff throughout the resort were kind, polite and helpful across all areas from housekeeping, mini bar service, front desk, service attendants, waiting and bar staff. The food and drinks options were varied and presentation fantastic to add to great flavour choices. Entertainment was also varied and with the extra choices available at the other connected Barcelo resorts there is certainly something for everyone no matter your cultural or artistic fancy. We found the pool areas clean, relaxing and also entertaining depending on where you chose to be. We were able to find shade or sun drenched areas depending on how we wanted to be on the day and findings loungers available was never a problem. The grounds, rooms and common areas along with all the dining areas are beautiful kept, clean, ascetically pleasing and modern. We had a fabulous vacation with a great combination of relaxation, entertainment, great dining and we definitely plan on returning. All in all we would recommend this establishment to anyone thinking of booking their next Cancun vacation in Mexico.

The staff were really professional and helpful with any questions I had, polite and no language barrier. Restaurants were top notch and the servers went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Beautiful pools with pool bars made it to easy not to enjoy yourself and the beach was out of this world with enough shade from the palm trees and plenty of chairs for everyone. Rooms were very clean with daily maid service and refreshments stocked in the mini fridge. Overall, it's just a perfect place to let the stress out and relax, I have been there four times now and can't wait to return!

This was an absolutely wonderful resort and from beginning to end our experience was amazing! The room, the view, the pools, the beach, just everything was gorgeous. There’s 4 restaurants that are reservation only, there’s a buffet, and two pool bars. The food on the menu, or at least what we tried, were not bad at all. The selection at the buffet was pretty wide. One of pool bars played music and had activities for guests like water aerobics, dance lessons, and sports/games. There’s also 5 other resorts on this property under Barcelo and they offer shuttle service every 20mins if you want to visit them. We were told that if you book with the Maya Riviera Adults Only we can access all the amenities at the other resorts. We went to the Maya Palace and it was really nice there too. On the way there, we went to the mall and casino. Lastly, we want to commend the staff for their excellent service. Everyone was kind, ready to help with a smile, just beautiful people. 10 out 10 experience, highly recommended! Thank you!

The WOW factor for this resort was exceptional. The design was well thought out and attention to detail was second to none. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional. Mother nature floated in sargassum but the staff was incredible in their efforts to clean the beach every day.

We really enjoyed the pools at the AO. Buffet was okay. The ala carte restaurants were delicious. Snorkeling was not the best but still saw the turtles.
