MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao
I booked a double room for two days icluding breakfast. To our suprise it turned our that only one breakfast was included. That is very bad, I feel fooled. During the last thirty years I have always searched for hotel including breakfast. My wife did not get any breakfast.

Eastin Taipei Hotel
The windowless room was small but clean and was perfect for a single traveller. Soundproof isn't so great. Doors slam pretty hard and loud. If you are a light sleeper you might get woken up by neighbours who aren't very careful about closing the door quietly.
