"Superior room very spacious and decent spec."

"Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Quiet room."

"First and foremost the property was clean, functional and offered value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, although our experience of room service was let down by dirty cups being left. We found the hotel lacked character, everything about it was functional and not interesting. This extended to the breakfast, our experience of which was behind not eating supper there. This is not a criticism of the hotel, it is my view. Based on reviews I expected a little more than we got....

"Really spacious clean room. Bathroom a bit dated and shower not very warm. Great location and parking facilities. Cracking view of the river from the room. I got an email offering a deal on breakfast. On paying at reception I was told it didn’t include VAT for the breakfast which was extra which I thought was a bit misleading. Other than that nice stay."

"Well situated to train station, Eldon Square shopping centre, Grainger Market, Bigg Market’s bars and some nice restaurants a few minutes walk away. Room was decent although paint was peeling off the bathroom wall and some mould in the shower, so definitely needs a room refresh."

"The room was great but overall I loved how close to the airport this hotel is."

"Excellent customer services at Check in and throughout the stay. Great location, 2 minute walk from strain station. Really effective sound proofing and amazing breakfast choices, really good veg option. Would recommend."

"I was disappointed with my experience, particularly given the high standards I associate with Hilton. The level of customer service fell well below expectations. Unfortunately, the receptionist's attitude was neither welcoming nor professional. First impressions are important, and I felt the interaction lacked the courtesy and hospitality one would expect from a hotel of this reputation. In addition, no complimentary water was offered upon check-in, which is a small gesture but one that many...

"From arriving the staff were so polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy and were very well stocked with everything you would need in a suite stay. The included breakfast had a great variety of both hot and continental items. On-site secure parking for £13 was great. We will definitely stay here again."

"Hotel was excellent. Room was spacious and nicely decorated. Just lacking a few shelves. Staff friendly and helpful. Location was fantastic for our trip to the Glasshouse and Quayside"

"Every time I travel back north I stay at this place as it's friendly, has what you need and more-aka the restaurant next door and nearby to bigger shops too"
