"Overall it was really good. It is worth noting this was my first trip away in a long time and was my first time staying in Newcastle and I suffer from anxiety/paranoia and overthinking, having said that I'm new to staying in hotels overall. "We booked this stay for our daughters birthday, all the staff were fantastic throughout our stay. The reception were great with our daughter, they noticed it was her birthday and gave her a nice jar of jelly beans. The room was clean and as expected, facility's were great especially the pool area. We had a buffet breakfast in the morning, the selection was plentiful and all the food was good quality and presented well. We will visit again."

"Great location hotel. Clean and modern. Didn't have breakfast or dinner but had a late drink in the bar. Very popular with groups of drinkers in the afternoon, early eve. Not a very accessible hotel however, as steps to the many levels. Used lift, but still steps to corridor and steps inside bedroom. location and price were good though."

"The hotel staff were amazing, nothing was a problem for them. Our room was really clean stocked with good quality toiletries and really clean white towels. Location was excellent for shopping as well as food. Breakfast was really good and there was a constant flow of hot drinks! Would certainly recommend….."

"Absolutely spot on, although the rooms are a little dated they are super clean and spacious. The evening meal choice is great, and the quality is excellent and not over priced. Ideal hotel if you’re visiting the museum as it’s only a 5 minute drive away. Overall we had a brilliant weekend."

"Perfect location. From our room we were lucky enough to have an amazing view of the Tyne Bridge. Presenter drinks on the outdoor terrace were lovely and a swim in the pool was a great start and end to a busy day sightseeing. Would highly recommend! "

"A nice hotel, but I was disappointed with my last day. I stayed for 5 nights and asked for a late checkout on the final day, only to be told checkout latest was 11am and every hour after would be a charge of £30. This seems a little extortionate and as a frequent traveller and user of this hotel many time before, a little user unfriendly. I understand they have to clean the rooms and make ready for other people, but surely there is a more customer friendly way of dealing with this. "

"Room was very warm. Had to use provided desk fan to keep temp at tolerable level. Couldn’t leave the window open overnight due to street noise from the clubs and bars near by. However staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and hotel gym great. Great central location but the penalty is the noise. "
