Great place to stay! Macie at the front desk was super and told us about cool places to see and places to eat locally. Breakfast was buffet style and really good! Hotel has a rich history and is located within walking distance of the beach. Can't wait to go back!

One of the safest and most comfortable places to stay at in Ventura. Delicious breakfast, beautiful view of the beach from the property and smack in the middle of all that you need to enjoy your trip. We’ve stayed there 3 times and have never been disappointed.

The hotel was convenient to accessing the beach trail. No dogs allowed on the beach. A pleasant walk on the trail to downtown and back to the hotel. The downtown is historic we had good coffee and Acai bowls, and a nice walk.

Great place, but our mini refrigerator broke Overnight and the shower knob didn’t turn on the water, it just spun. I do love this place even though it’s noisy outside, beautiful views!

The grounds are pretty. The hotel is dilapidated. The bed was comfortable. Sheets had old dark stains. Table on balcony was filthy. Highway sounds a bummer. We adjusted and managed to have a nice time anyway.

Very good accommodations! We're staffed one night because I had a charity bike ride in Ventura. This location is walkable to downtown and great parts of the beach. There was some construction/renovations ongoing when we stayed, and the room was set up well. The ocean view was technically true, but the view was mostly obstructed by another part of the hotel. We could hear traffic from the freeway, but we knew that when we booked. Staff was very kind and helpful.
