"We loved our 3N stay at Residenza Ducato. The location is impeccable, only ~4 minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge on a quiet street in San Marco, and ~20 minutes to most of the places we visited in Venice. The hotel has its own private courtyard and entrance, and security is high tech. It must have been recently renovated because the interior is modern and very well appointed. "Was here for one night with family of 5. Two modest bedrooms and sleep sofas. Great location just behind the Rialto Bridge. Several flights of stairs, but we knew that. Rooms are clean and recommend. Not 5 star but great stay. "

"This was a full apartment with balcony, dining table and living room (no kitchen except sink and microwave) connected to a larger hotel complex with 24 hour desk staff and only a couple blocks from San Marco square. Super convenient, nice and spacious and surprisingly quiet for the location. Great communication. "

"This is a beautiful, authentic Venetian property overlooking the canal. It is in a great location 5 minutes' walk from the Piazzale Roma - so convenient if you are arriving by bus. Bed was comfortable. Friendly, helpful owner. Everything was fabulous."

"Nice apartment only 2 minutes from St Marks Square. Although there is no reception, the communication from the management team off site was excellent both prior and during our stay. They also left drinks and biscuits for us on arrival which was a nice touch."

"This property is pretty but a bit far away from the main areas and tourist attracts. Night time is very quiet with no one around. It is perfect if you want to be able to walk to the touristy areas in the day and return back to quiet at night. Rooms were large and clean, our room wasn’t modern like in the photos which I was expecting but had a kitchenette and a large bedroom. Staff was very lovely and very helpful! "

"Tiny shower cabin in a huge apartment. Why cant they build a bigger shower cabin? Its old and compact. Very strange layout. Regretted staying here. Definitely not worth the price we paid. Also, the gardeners mowed the lawn at freaking 0830 in the morning. Loud as hell."
