"We were met with the most uninterested woman in the reception. Felt like she didn’t care about anything. The room was very small, there was no fan, very tiny windows (felt a bit unsafe) and there was no shower as stated in the booking. The internet was not working during our stay, and there was no safety locker in our room, nor in reception. We were like the only people staying there. "The kitchen had this terrible stench - turned out the kitchen sink tubes were leaking odours into the kitchen. Although it was “my kitchen” people helped themselves to stuff. Bedroom was very basic, dated furniture, etc. it was cheap but yeah - I guess one gets what one pays for. And one more thing - when I got there at the main address (there are two guesthouses) nobody opened the gate for some time. I had to get the help of another tourist and when I finally made it to reception the excuses...

"Die Sunset Farm ist ein wunderschöner Rückzugsort, wenn man etwas Ruhe von dem Trubel in Kapstadt sucht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und The Barn ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Zudem ist das Weingut "Blaauwklippen" zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir können und werden die Unterkunft gerne Freunden und Familie weiterempfehlen. "
