"Fantastic hotel in a great location in Stellenbosch within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Staff were a pleasure and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A real shame that there was major building work going on at the property next to this one as it did mean we couldn't really enjoy our balcony or the pool area as it was so noisy - it would have been good to have been advised of this in advance of the stay. Breakfast was delicious and overall we would recommend - if we were in Stellenbosch again we would stay again! "

"FANTASTIC STAY!!! The room was beautiful, the views of the mountains and clouds every morning was a delight to see. After booking I saw a couple of mixed reviews but honestly this stay exceeded my expectations. And the gym was GREAT! Amazing set up - has everything you need for a decent workout. Breakfast had a great range each morning and had dinner one night at the reesturant and the portion was huge! "

"Breakfast was slow to arrive and not much to choose from, server was unresponsive. room was a disgrace, we moved once from an even worse room, the first room we were shown a worker appeared from the toilet while we were standing there. We had no choice but to stay the first night but moved the next morning to a different hotel. The manager we spoke to while leaving said she was outraged by what we told her and would ensure we received at least a partial refund, That never happened. I have tried to reach out and ask about the refund but received no reply. Be warned it is a terrible place and there are plenty of others to choose from."

"Excellent location. Lots of restaurants within few minutes walk . Very high temperatures in Stellenbosch but air conditioning in hotel very good. Staff very friendly and helpful and everything you need in room including microwave. Very good breakfast. "

"After a warm and happy late check in, I wondered to my room to find a disaster unfold. As it was late at night I had no opportunity to leave as the staff leave at 1030pm Many windows have been left open and there were a number of mosquitoes in the room The towel rail fell off the wall as soon as I lifted a towel. Then I informed my towel to find dark stains all over it. There was blood over a number of pillows and sheets. The floor had not been cleaned properly and my feet were filthy within five minutes of having a shower. About 7 long hairs over the duvet and the sheets of the double bed. On a positive note, the room was very quiet and the shower powerful. The staff were all very nice. The hotel replaced the dirty towels and gave me some mosquito spray. I could not want to stay here again."
