"What’s great: front desk staff, location What’s not: lack of room AC Free breakfast was decent, staff worked hard to keep place tidy. Plenty of underground parking spaces. Enjoyed the rustic feel of the lodge. The best feature of this place is its central location. Everywhere in Banff is an easy walk. The front desk are likewise admirable for their helpfulness and politeness, especially Hanna! Thank you for the room upgrade :) The area I recommend to improve is to have AC in each room, just...

"We stayed in the suite with two separate bedroom areas and a kitchen in between. It's older property and long overdue for renovation which doesn't bother me but might bother some. There are no blackout curtains and the curtains barely covered the window so it's very bright in the morning. The staff tried to be helpful but when my neighbors were repeatedly noisy starting at 10:45 p.m. it took a lot of prompting for the front desk to ask them to be quiet. For three nights in a row."

"Gorgeous facility, helpful staff, and wonderful management. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel and we will definitely be back! Upon check-in we were surprised with a courtesy upgrade! Thank you to the wonderful staff for accommodating our group we are very grateful."

"Towels were not provided, which made it impossible to shower during my stay. A 4pm check-in is also not reasonable given the cost structure. This is not a nightly rate—you are effectively paying hourly. I checked in at 4pm as required and left at 5am, resulting in a 13-hour stay that did not reflect the price paid. In my view, the latest check-in should be 2pm, and basic amenities such as towels should be provided as a standard requirement anywhere in the world."

"Nothing too special, very old and outdated if you want to call it "rustic". Shower is not turned on properly, and washroom shelves are dusty. No complimentary coffee or tea. I wouldn't come back."

"Rudament and gaslighting is the key of the staff, I came to have a nice vacation not someone to treat his guests like trash. Liars, they don't clean your room, don't change your towels only if you bag them, and then there is no one there and you need a towel they send you to get one, just to blame you for going on your own. Do yourself a favor skip this place at all cost. P.s. breakfast was awful."

"Me and my husband love staying in Silver creek Lodge. Ambiance is so relaxing, and Feels like home away from home. Silver Creek is always number 1 for us. Highly recommend."
