"I would highly recommend Sergeant House. The rooms were very clean, beautifully decorated and good air conditioning. Lots of welcome extras included such as insect repellent, cookies, robes, sunhat and beach towels. The hotel is in a great location but set back from the road so lovely and peaceful. The manager was really helpful in arranging tours and airport transfers"

"There was not a beach view from our room. There was also significant building work going on right next to our room, but it was at another property. The beach location from the hotel was excellent, walk straight onto it. The breakfast was flexible with a number of choices. The staff were good and helpful."

"The staff who work here are really wonderful. The place is right on the beach, which is great. We ended up staying an extra day because we loved it so much. Definitely very surprising from what we were expecting."

"Lovely hotel.. This is not 5* hotel - if that's your thing... It had a TV, but it didn't work. Cracked plug socket/curtain rail holder missing etc.. I bit tired in places. But, the staff were friendly, the room/s were large - and clean. If you want a place to stay a short walk from the beach and near restaurants, then this is a good place to stay. A couple of pools too. We went pre-season, so were lucky to be here with not many others using the facilities. "
