"Stayed 7 nights at Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18. The room was spacious, and the kitchenette was a nice touch, even though I didn’t use it. The staff was helpful. The gym was solid, and the rooftop pool was a good place to unwind. The first night was rough. My top-floor room sat right under the pool machinery, and the noise, especially at night, made it hard to sleep. I’m not particularly sensitive, but it was too much. To their credit, they moved me to a better room the next morning. That issue aside, the stay was very good. Great location. I’d come back, just not under the pool."

"The breakfast was delicious. The coffee and Thai tea very delicious as well. The desserts for 4 PM was delicious.The bar drinks was delicious. Everything was delicious. The room was cleaned. The staff was very friendly and nice and very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay now . I will be back real soon. Thank you."

"Staff was super friendly and welcoming. I went during songkran it was a blast and very lively. Definitely tourist friendly, lots of places to eat in walking distance. Two 7 11 also in walking distance. The BTS close by. They even provide a tut tut to take to the BTS and the mall Termial 21 within a certain time and advance notice. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Bangkok."

"I was a member in the club and was able to smoke a cigar outside on the terrace. I enjoyed the young lady Emily, who was able to be extremely nice and hospitable. Also Celine a new trainee at the front desk, spoke great English and was able to recommend locations around town"

"My airline changed my flight date on me, so I had to forfeit 3 nights I had already paid for. The hotel said they would reimburse me for one of those nights, which I thought was generous, since I hadn't purchased insurance to protect me against cancellations. When I tried to get the reimbursement, they reversed their decision, which I thought was very unethical of them. The hotel staff were nice, but the room smelled of foot odor. One other thing that really ruined my stay was having my laundry done there. They were advertising a "hot promotion" with 20% off for laundry service. Their hot promotion ended up being more than double the cost of a local shop I had used prior. And the laundry wasn't folded. The other shop folded and wrapped everything. And one more thing was traffic noise all through the night. My sleep was interrupted at least once, every single night. NEVER AGAIN!"
