"I recently stayed at La Posada Lodge, checking in on Thursday, May 14th. The hotel is a bit older but incredibly quaint, clean, and quiet. The property is lush and beautifully landscaped, making for a very relaxing atmosphere. ​The Good: ​Fantastic Staff: Everyone was polite and welcoming. The front desk was lightning-fast whenever we needed services, like extra towels. ​Daniella the chef is a Star: She is hands-down your hardest working employee. Management, please get her some help—she needs and deserves an assistant! ​Food & Amenities: The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the mimosas were an absolute chef’s kiss. The beds were super comfy, the pool was amazing, and the free cookie at check-in was a nice touch. ​The One Issue: I made my reservation on April 9th through a third-party site. I called the lodge two days before my stay to confirm and was explicitly told I was good to go with a patio room. However, at check-in, I was given a third-floor handicap room with just a window. When I called the front desk, I was told I had been bumped because third-party bookings sometimes get shifted when the hotel overbooks. I wouldn't have been upset if I hadn't called two days prior to confirm the patio room. ​Verdict: Despite the room mix-up, the beautiful grounds and wonderful staff made for a very nice stay. I look forward to staying here again—I'll just be booking directly next time!"

"Great option in Tucson. Friendly staff that cares. Nice amenities, including a terrific gym. The property is a 1980’s design, and will need some updating in the years to come, but it’s all very well maintained. About 20 min to UofA if visiting a child. Only criticism would be the lack of a concierge. We were there over a long, and very high occupancy weekend, so it would have been a very nice amenity (eg. No one knew the process and f arranging a tennis lesson). Notwithstanding, I have stayed at all the top hotels and resorts in the area multiple times, and this is probably tops. "

"Nice clean property. Only quibbles: no weights in gym, door locks need maintenance (I had to help an older woman who was struggling to open hers). Great proximity to airport, polite and congenial staff."
