"The lady that checked us in was just on her third day. She was nice and funny, a pleasure to talk to. The room was clean and stocked with what we needed for cleaning up. The parking was great and could walk to some restaurants. I wasn’t very impressed with the breakfast, threw the eggs away after one bite. Very odd taste. And the doors to the lobby were locked where we couldn’t even get coffee after hours until 7am. I’ve never stayed anywhere that coffee wasn’t available or at least coffee in the room"

"This property has obviously been refurbished recently! The peaceful nature themed interior decor was beautiful and the wood furniture offered plenty of storage. Thoughtful details like additional shelving in closet area and the Keurig coffee maker were nice. There are plenty of amenities such as multiple pools, a playground, and outdoor movie screen that would be great for entertaining kids. The staff helped us with late check in procedures. When we needed hand soap, the cleaning staff delivered it and also refreshed our room even though we weren’t scheduled for a cleaning that day. The room was meticulously clean and I’m very particular about cleaning. Be aware the bathroom is rather small, but nicely redecorated. The breakfast was continental, but also offered microwave grits and oatmeal, as well as boiled eggs. It met our basic needs, but The Pancake House is just across the street for a more extensive meal. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Cade’s Cove!"

"The keypad you use to enter the premises needs to be explained better! We had several guests that couldn’t get into their room. We couldn’t get into the lodge or our room either. Breakfast was deleicious! Scenery was bar none! Stunning for sure."
