"Bit of a strange place to be honest. We booked very last min due to the flight cancellations across Asia due to the Middle East. The staff weren’t particularly friendly upon check in, the rooms are ok, perfectly sufficient for one night. We didn’t realize that it’s a resort for ‘sports’ so it’s in the middle of nowhere. Facilities onsite close early, and it’s very much geared towards activities (swimming, football, fitness etc) so if you’re not there for that, then didn’t really seem like there...

"Sitting outside there were sooo many flies and ants and it was like the second you opened the door to come out they would go in the room. I left a box of pizza over night on table and woke up to ants. In addition, my makeup made a stain on the pillow and as we were waiting for our car to pick us up to take us to airport the cleaning person ran outside with the pillow to point it out to me. Which was very weird and rude. The person at the desk told us not to worry about it. Aside from these...

"I had a wonderful overall experience at Kora Beach Resort Phuket. The resort is situated in the peaceful Bang Tao/Layan beach area, making it ideal for anyone looking to escape the crowded tourist spots
Location & Transport: While the quiet location is a huge plus, it is a bit far from Patong or Phuket Town. You will definitely need a rental car or taxi/Grab to get around and explore other areas."

"The room was clean and very comfortable, and it was a good size for the two of us with a kitchen area, separate bathroom and separate bedroom. We didn’t use the pool for two reasons, too many kids and we had a spa room. The breakfast every day was good with loads of good options of fresh fruit, pastries and cooked meals. Happy hour was good value especially as no-one used it much when we were there so service was good. Location is ok, lots of construction going on around the area, but we don’t...

"I recently stayed at Sugar Marina Lagoon and had an amazing holiday! The hotel is beautiful, with a private and peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The rooms were comfortable, and the pool area was lovely, including a cute children’s pool where kids can enjoy themselves. There’s also a fitness room in the center of the hotel with a great view of the pool. I loved that there was ample parking available. I’ll...

Return customers, this hotel is the only place i will stay in Karon. The staff are absolutely amazing, the hotel manager Mr Sun is one in a million, talks and laughs with the guests, he will get you a coffee. My wife became ill and without hesitation Mr Sun transported us some 20km to hospital and waited with us until were being looked after..you will not be disappointed staying here with Mr Sun and his amazing team
