"Hotel in quiet location convenient for Leiden and coast. We had the smallest room ‘Amsterdam’ billed as a single with 2 beds. There was no storage space, only one small cupboard. The beds were inset into wall and one was accessible only by a ladder, and on a balcony with little in the way of a safe handrail. Only the reasonably fit would be able to access this bed, and only the foolhardy would attempt a descent in the night. The bathroom was luxurious with the use of robes and slippers. The...

As we have not travelled since before Covid we also are surprised that beds are not being made everyday and that the only thing that seems to be done is that the garbages are emptied. Even the coffee cups are not replaced with clean ones. "
