"The resort itself is quite nice if you like being remote - so remote Grab services don’t operate there. There’s a very small mini mart 2 mins up the road but otherwise not a lot within walking distance. The staff keep the beach in front of the resort clean, but if you walk further up the beach in each direction there is lots of trash which is such a shame and does ruin the tranquil vibe. "We stayed here for a few days while attending a wedding nearby and would stay again if in this area. For the price, it was good value, especially compared with prices of other hotels in the area. Basic, clean accommodation. Pool is clean. Owner is lovely and helpful. Beach is across the road.If you want breakfast, just let the owner know the night before. The room had large fridges, so we bought fried rice the night before or waited till 10 when the restaurant opened. "

"Die 1. Nacht haben wir in einem Bungalow verbracht, indem die Decke teilweise herunter hing. Die Ecken des Bungalows waren undicht, weshalb Ameisenstrassen und Geckos in unser hinein kamen. Die Klimaanlage konnte kaum reguliert werden ( An oder Aus). Das Zimmer wurde vor dem Aufenthalt als auch währenddessen nicht gereinigt. Alle Armaturen im Bad waren vergammelt. Überall Dreck in der Dusche. Dir Matratze und das Kissen waren bretthart. Im Kühlschrank hat man nut ungern Dinge aufbewahrt wegen...

"We are on day 20 of a 30 day Asian vacation and fortunate to have the Amari for 7 of those days. Upgrade to the club level. It’s worth the extra money. The pool that is shown in the marketing is the club pool and only available if you upgrade. There are two other pools but neither of them are as nice as the club level pool. There is a happy hour every day with free food and drinks. In addition, there is a private gym and restaurant, only for club level members. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Don’t worry about the buggies and getting around the property, we never waited more than a few minutes to get up and down the hill. For the money, the Amari is a home run. Luxury at the fraction of the cost in a similar property in the US. It’s a short walk in to town, or take a tuk-tuk for $6. There was always one waiting at the lobby. There are two other pools, an amazing Italian restaurant and room service was great. The people working here bend over backward to make sure everything is just right. Thank you Amari!"
