"A quirky and old school reminder of Budapest's past. It is right beside the national museum (which is another are of major renos, which start at 730) and near everywhere you want to be. The ceiling was 15' high with a chandelier, fridge, nice bathroom with killer water pressure for showers. Not a hotel, more like a pension and Y, lots of things are happening around you. Highly recommended. "
"The residences are next to the hotel. The area has been renovated nicely and the residences are also beautiful with high quality finishes.
A few negatives:
- no coat hanger
- light switches are not the most convenietly placed
Otherwise this is a beautiful hotel and would return anytime "
"Es war wie immer sehr schön wir waren das 4. mal und werden das Hotel wieder kommen. Die Betten waren sehr gut! Das Frühstück ist immer wieder sehr gut! Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich , hilfsbereit und sehr nett !!!"
"Hotel GIN is new and very well located for sightseeing Budapest. It’s is central yet quiet and you are always within 20 minutes of one site or another. Very good food spots too. The hotel is clean and well taken care off. I had issues with my first room and they changed it even upgraded me, no issues. I initially needed to cancel the booking due to unexpected ill health but they refused saying I had booked a non refundable room meanwhile all they offered on Expedia were the non refundable room....
"Das Hotel an sich war super. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist ausgezeichnet. Zudem liegt es sehr zentral. Allerdings, dadurch, dass es an einer Hauptstraße liegt, ist es sehr laut.
Ich würde Ohrenstöpsel empfehlen, andernfalls wird man nachts durch Polizeisirenen oder Ähnliches geweckt, die wirklich sehr oft dort lang fahren."
"The room and the bathroom are spacious! The air conditioning worked well. We liked the breakfast, there are many options (although we would rather have simple oatmeal instead of their prepared oatmeal, but it didn't affect our experience). The hotel is new, the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located and close to many attractions, however there is some loitering in one of the streets nearby (close to the park). We just avoided that street at night and we didn't have any problem....
"Parisi Uvdar Hotel: What a gem! From the moment you enter, it is clear you are somewhere super special. The vaulted ironwork has gothic details. The high arches and domes of leaded glass are reminiscent of Parisian shopping centers from the end of the 1800s.
The service was first class and made our stay flawless from check in to departure. Our room was upgraded because of my Hyatt status. (Join before you go if you are not a member) They placed a lovely gift of sweets and chocolates to welcome...

"The apartment is in a GREAT location and it's SUPER AWESOME. Very very clean and safe. Janos met us as soon as we arrived and he was super helpful and very communicative and clear with all directions... all went super smoothly. The apartment is incredible.
