The Ibis is a wonderful budget hotel! I was very pleased with every aspect of the hotel stay, the cleanliness, the courtesy and professionalismof the staff, the location, overall it was just more than I expected. I highly recommend for the budget traveler or traveler staying a night or two in Sydney.

I checked in around 9pm on a Sunday,the Reception staff member was exceptional with his efficient and friendly service,the room was immaculate and quiet as well.
Close to transport, dining,shopping and entertainment options,this is my new destination for Sydney stays.

Incredible location. We were walking to Darling harbour in 15 min.
Trains and bus transport close by.
Unlimited dining options near by.
Tropicana, for breakfast up a couple of blocks is great.
Rooms are decent, comfy beds and pillows.
Reliable and prompt elevators.
Happy endings comedy show across the street.
Happy with stay.
Only downer was the Halls could ise some more regular cleaning and vacume.

It was as you'd expect from a budget hotel. No frills, very basic but clean rooms. Friendly customer service and an exceptional young man making the coffee at breakfast on Saturday. He made the morning experience!

I had a great stay at Ibis Sydney east. Considering its perched above a busy road, the double glazing meant that the sound does not infiltrate the room and I had no trouble sleeping or just relaxing in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Kings Cross station is very close and you can get anywhere from there. My room even had a harbour and Opera House view, to my surprise. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again.
