"We booked a King bed room a year in advance. They put us in “the loft” which was a very small room and very small bathroom. The king bed took up most of the room. We did not have sheer curtains so, when we opened the curtains everyone walking toward our room could see entire room. We had problems with the TV. They had to send someone to reboot the tv. It still did not work. We would not recommend this Hoyel/Motel. Very outdated. We compromised the closeness to Convention Center for quality. Will not be staying here again!"
The Park Vista - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Gatlinburg

"Lovely stay in a beautiful area with a beautiful city view. Staff was very kind, specifically the bartender with red hair, I didn't catch her name, but she was fantastic.
I only give 4 stars because the room itself was clearly not maintained well. The coffee pot when we arrived did not work (which they did offer to fix), the door on the dresser covering the fridge was loose so when you would open it to access the fridge, it would drop down a bit and you’d have to lift it to to close it back. There was also some kind water damage on the cover for the ac unit and the bulb for the lamp on the desk was literally dangling down.
Overall we loved the location, views, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is gorgeous from an architectural perspective. I just wish that they maintained the rooms a bit more."
"When we arrived the out door pool wasn't working and we traveled with children. I wish we would have know this so we could have canceled. The indoor pool was so small and very outdated. The rooms were ok. We were told they were just bought out and the new owners were about to put in a lot of money renovating it. The location was fantastic and the price was great. The bathrooms were nice and the bed was very comfortable. The room kept cold and it has a small kitchen and small fridge. For being outdated the price and location were right!"
"We had a a great experience! Everything was clean, the pool was a great place for the kids and us to relax in the evenings. The staff were very helpful l, room service was exceptional and John made our checkin process very smooth."
