"This is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. The staff are friendly and welcoming and organise walking tours of Chiang Mai on occasion to bring people together. The dining area and other outdoor areas are great for hanging out in and meeting the other travellers. The rooms are clean and the beds and pillows are comfy. The breakfast is simple but excellent and the kitchen appliances and utensils are available for cooking and storage of food. The hostel also has a great location."

"The clean and mop floors everyday even your room, they change the towel everyday and even clean your bed. located in city centre, not too far from airport and a lot of Cafe and restaurant around. After all it's very recommended for you to stay here when traveling to Chiang Mai."

"The common areas and bathrooms were very clean, and there was a locker right next to the bed where you could use a lock. While it wasn't in a super central area, it was very quiet and walking distance to a lot of stuff which was convenient. The front desk staff were also very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are okay with a hostel."

"If you want somewhere basic and well located in Chiangmai old town, this is the place for you. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a lovely area walking distance from lovely shops and places to eat and book other excursions. My only complaint would be that the room was quite basic, there was a lot of noise from other AC generators (despite the one in our room being turned off whilst we tried to sleep) and the shower was not hot. But for the price you can’t complain! I would...

"Awesome hostel. Hipster vibes and staff was very friendly and accommodating. On the day of check out I had to leave early in the morning for a tour. They let me keep my bag in the room with the room keys and they took it down to storage for me and then a picked it up in the evening. A little noisy in the evenings with people partying on the rooftop but I guess that’s what hostels are for!"

"It was alright as far as hostels go. Unfortunately during my stay the bathroom and the elevator both were out of order - I decided to end my stay early and get a room at a hotel. It was clean, though!"

"Our stay at the Iris Hostel was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are not extravagant but very clean (we stayed in one of the private rooms). They have a washer and dryer on site. And the location is very close to the Sunday market, and is a straight shot up to Do Suthep Temple. We wish we could have extended our stay here. I hope to be back in the future."
