"This beautiful sanctuary truly is magical! If you think you're going to have any western luxuries, please reduce your expectations! This is a rural eco lodge. We stayed in the mountain cabins and we didn't have hot water, so we made due with coldish water. That really was the only inconvenience. Food was amazing! From the staff to the elephant handlers, it was sooooo great! Being able to see the elephants walk around and feed them and watch their personalities shine, really was magical. As for...

"Lovely comfortable stay for solo travellers. Just off the main road and walking distance to old town and night bazar markets. Many tour companies near by to book excursions, the hotel also provides them but is cheaper to book off the main road. Everything was great with this place, hot water, tc, AC, kettle, towels and cleaning every day. Walls are pretty thin so you can hear of the neighbour has TV on etc but not an issue as you're out most of the day. "

"I cannot in good conscious recommend this place. We walked up and there was quite a lot of junk and laundry around. The room was fairly clean but the bed was extremely hard. The window into the bathroom do not have a curtain on it and there was another neighbors window that looked in to our showering area. This is been the most uncomfortable stage of our travels this far"

"The Hipster is a no-frills place to stay if you are like us and just sleep there, leaving early in the morning and returning at night. PROS: Near the airport. Quiet side street. Hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. Inexpensive taxi / tuk-tuk ride into the city. Comfortable small lobby area. CONS: Not in the downtown area, so you just can't go out and walk around. "Its Clean. Remodeled inside. Old building outside. No elevator for people who cant use stairs.Good Wifi. Like a nice and clean motel 6 or best western. If you suffer from slight noise then its not for you. I dont have a problem with any noise so whatever works for you. Has balcony with 2 chairs and table "
