"We stayed at Achill Guest House for one night before starting a canal boat trip from Alvechurch Marina. We appreciated that it is a family-run guest house with a funky charm one doesn’t find in a chain hotel, even if the walls are a little thin and we could hear our neighbors a little bit. "Lovely hotel walking distance of Solihull shops, bars and restaurants. We only ate breakfast which had plenty of choice from cooked to continental. Nice room and bathroom with plenty of space. Didn’t use swimming pool this time but previously it’s been nice. On-site parking at cost £10 per day. "
