"First time I stayed in the seaburn inn as I stay in Sunderland a lot but from now on that’s the only place I’ll stay
Staff- very helpful. Even late at night, remote broken for TV and went out their way to get me a new one.

"Location, 10 minutes from the airport was excellent. Although very close to the A1, the hotel is situated within green and leafy gardens. Our room, third floor looking over the car park, had countryside views and we could hear very little road noise even with the window open. "The hotel is well positioned and presented, occupying a strategic location overlooking the town.
The room occupied was on par for the standard of the hotel, albeit the slope of the floor in the shower made you feel as though you might tumble out of the shower.
The restaurant felt somewhat cramped with tables sited at both ground level and on raised platforms, which gave the impression of either looking down on other diners or being watched.

"The food was excellent and the potions enormous.
It was rather remote so you needed a car to visit Durham. The park and ride (Belmont) was excellent but you will need sat nav to find it.Uber was £19 to Durham.
Most of the staff very friendly a couple not so but didn’t spoil our stay"

"It's a fantastic place to stay, but the wallpaper which is fab could do with glueing down in the room we stayed in 132.
Also herb sausage is not breakfast sausage, maybe do just pork or beef sausage.
Everything else was fantastic lovely stay."

"Prior to booking this hotel we specifically called up to ask whether there is air conditioning at this hotel. So imagine our disappointment to discover that the air conditioning did not work properly on one of the hottest days of the year. Not only blow warm air, it was also so noisy that we could not sleep. "Room was big and the bed was big. Very clean throughout. The walls and headboards were a little tired looking. Our first room had faulty air con and on our last night we were given another room. We got a 30% refund for the nights we had no air con. The screen casting worked well in our first room but didn't work in the new room we moved to and the engineer, while very polite, didn't understand the issue either. The bar, breakfasts and staff were very nice."

"Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these.
Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter.
Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel."

"First class as always, this is our fourth visit and we are already planning our next one.
From a seamless check in with an amazingly warm welcome from Nicola and Cheryl who remembered us from previous visits. The room was excellent and the housekeeping team did a fabulous job throughout our stay, nothing is too much trouble. We are in the Pin bar and once again the food was lovely and all people we came across were helpful and polite.

"We arrived to check into an accessible room. No help was offered to navigate a small set of steps to our room. No explanation of the amenities available or what time breakfast was served . The following morning our television didn't work breakfast was £16.95 for full english so we ate elsewhere.
