Less than 1 min walk to Otaru Station. Amazing hotel in Otaru. Clean and spacious room, convenient walk to nearby attractions. Regret staying only for 1 night in Otaru and in this hotel. Even if we were to stay one week, there will be enough interesting places to visit.

Dormy Inn is conveniently located a minute’s walk from the train and bus station. Shopping was also easily accessible. The Canal ride and Bank Museum besides restaurants, were within comfortable walking distance.

Hotel is facing the train station, just across the street and drop the luggage then start heading to go for food and shopping. The hot spring pools are amazing, definitely got to try! Staff are nice and friendly. Room inside is very comfortable to stay.

My first impression was of a cheap tourist hotel. Indeed the room was small, a bit Spartan and well worn. However, the public spaces are excellent, in particular the hot springs public bath was great. They have free washing machines including soap (200 yen for dryer), free ramen service in the evening and free coffee in the lobby ( in addition to coffee on the room). Location is good, next to main train station, and a reasonable walk to the local sites.

Good price. Provide free night food ramen. Breakfast is worth the cost. Public bath area is clean and relaxing. Double bed room is more suitable for solo travellers, suggest couple can choose Japanese style room instead. Japanese style room is warm and cozy, match with the city atmosphere well. Overall very recommend.
