"They consider themselves as luxury but they are really not. There were mice droppings ALL OVER the outside of the room in the hallways. Mice droppings in the staircase corners. They have an infestation!!! Also everything is made pretty cheap (furniture, decor, etc). The staff was overwhelmed with the occupancy the week we were there. Would not come back. Hector at the pool and beach was great!! And the lady that did the margarita class was awesome!"

"This is a small well run beach hotel - we stayed in a bungalow right on the beach it was cosy clean and generally fab. Half board - the food was very good like being in a restaurant with no corners cut. The staff were always cheerful abd helpfull We would happily stay here again and recommend it"

"It’s a beautiful resort but not a lot to do there. There was only one restaurant open when we were there (rooftop). The food is marvellous but very pricey. The staff were really friendly but there were operational issues with the way that food and utensils were provided. Rather than leave salt and pepper, napkins, hot sauce etc on the tables we had to ask for them each time. So they might bring salt but not pepper, or forget syrup for pancakes. "Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at in this hemisphere.* We stayed in a penthouse suite in the Fairmont's Heritage Place area. The place was immaculate, quiet, spacious, with a great modern kitchen. An in suite bathroom for each of three rooms, and an extra powder room. There are beautiful pools *everywhere*, never crowded. The beach is maybe a 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride away. The bikes are well maintained, but single speed, so I had to adjust the seat height to get enough...

"Some of the rooms have no natural light coming in, which encourages you to go to the rooftop pool more often. Maid service does not occur by default, and you need to request it. I like that approach. Kitchenette rooms are quite spacious - I upgraded to one after 2 nights for the rest of our 9 night stay. Staff is very cheerful and helpful and accommodating, esoecially Diana. Very close to nighttime music on Quinta Avenida, so light sleepers might need earplugs. Music goes until 2 am nearly...

"Clean room, friendly stuff, short walk to the beach. Breakfast was not at the hotel. We were not able to fully use it due to excursions we booked (breakfast starts at 7:30am). Beside that it was nice place to stay."

"The room was okay, nothing special and very basic. They gave me complimentary bottle of champagne, but there was no water in the room. Construction outside is very loud during the day (March 2026). The staff was nice and helpful though. Overall it's good enough to stay for one night"
