"The staff right from check in were incredibly warm and friendly, and stayed that way throughout our stay. I know they are working on a complete overhaul of the property so things weren't exactly 100% during our stay but that was fine. We had an issue a couple of nights with loud neighbors keeping us awake but both times the front desk shut it down quickly with no issues."

"The staff at The Hotel Salem are so friendly and helpful. If you want to be right in the middle of Essex Street, this is the spot. The room was very comfortable and clean. Plus you have two great eating spots right on property, The Counter and The Roof. Nothing beats the views from the roof and the food and drinks are delicious. Only drawback is that parking is a bit of a walk because you are staying is a historic part of town. My favorite place to stay in Salem."
"Outdoor center patio with grills. The outdoor chairs and tables with fireplace. Oversize Jenga game outside. The all new modern hotel room appliances with witchy decor added throughout the entire area reminds you your truly in Salem. Whoever picked out the wallpaper is a genius! We all need the designer in our lives."
"Immaculate property and very nice staff especially Jacqueline in housekeeping and the friendly woman in the Breakfast Room whose name I am sorry I have forgotten; but always had a happy greeting for me everyday at 6 am! The Breakfast Room was always spotless and well-stocked. She does a first-class job!"
"It was our first time & we couldn’t love it more. We had a room in the 4th floor with a view of the park. The staff was accommodating & the bar & restaurant wonderful. Would definitely stay again. "
