Late night arrival

Arrived _very_ late (after midnight) after multiple Eurostar cancellations along with two other people, and the wonderful young woman on night duty looked after us so well, sitting us in the bar while she prepared the rooms, and so friendly and cheerful too. She deserves six starts out of five!

I found when entering the room, there was a strong smell of chlorine, like in a spa, but without the humidity. At least the window could be opened for ventilation. The floor had sand or some kind of debris, although overall, everything was clean.

at the check-in the asked to pay the full amount again telling me that the payment didn't go through until i showed them my bank account transaction on my phone and the payment confirmation from expedia, and at the checkout they asked to pay for the breakfast that i already payed for at check-in . room was fine but dirty, towels were old , not even one bottle of water in the room and only one coffee capsule for two adults and one child in the Suite,1Queen Bed with Sofa bed .
