"Vi köpte en billig hotell natt i Alicante för att utforska stan lite närmare. Vil5 har ett utmärkt läge i gamla stan nära till restauranger, barer, museum och hissen som tar dig upp till borgen på berget. VIL5 är obemannat men all service finns i hotellet tvärs över gatan, där sker även incheckning och frukost. Frukost kostade 10.50 euro, den var rätt så standard men helt ok. Frukosten serverades på takvåningen med en fin utsikt över borgen och stan. Ute terrassen var inte öppen under frukosten...

"The apartment itself was absolutely brilliant. Lovely and clean, everything you could possibly need. No dishwasher just for info but there is a washing machine. A great view over the city. There are a few restaurants and coffee shops close by too which were good. There are a huge amount of steps upto the apartment we were in though. 52 to be precise and they are of varying depths and the first staircase is quite narrow which was a challe ge with a 20kg case. "Our corner Deluxe bedroom (Room8) with 3 amazing windows was amazing. Bed was very comfortable the decor was very authentic. However the shower area does need to be replaced. All the reception and cleaning staff we met were very polite and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending Luces de Catedral."
