El Plantio is a great stay for a family vacation and golf. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pools are great and very well maintained. The restaurant offers good food, allthough the variety of the menu is lacking if you plan for a longer stay. Thankfully though, Alicante is close by, around 15 Minnute drive or taxi ride (ca. 20 Euros one way trip). All in all, if you are looking for a combined family and golf vacation for a reasonable price. I can with good conscience recomend El Plantio. Tip -The owner of El Plantio has recently also bought the Alicante Golf Course, and as a guest at El Plantio, one might get reduced Greenfee there too.

Amazing hotel with amazing possibilities! Great services, great pools, amazing nature and surroundings. Close to an extremely nice golfcourse, and only 15 min to citycentre in Alicante. This was one of my best stay ever.

Nice out-of-the-way resort with large, well-equipped apartments, two huge pools and good food. Would recommend for those who want a quiet retreat instead if the city hustle. Will need a car to get to and from.

Absolutely great little stay, the hotel is on the edge of the course, a 10 minute drive from the airport and off the beaten track. Property itself is immaculate, our apartment was spotless, well positioned and the staff were exceptional from start to finish. We really had a great couple of days, would recommend 100% and will most likley be back again soon.

We really had a great stay at El Plantio. The appartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff at the resort was really friendly. We had the breakfast every morning and it was absolutely great. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay just outside of the city to stay with a family with younger children. The swimming pool is also great.

The apartments are excellent. Plenty of closet space. Washer and dryer. Full kitchen with pots, pans, plates and utensils. Just make sure that if you’re going to do laundry, bring laundry detergent. The same goes for dishwasher liquid/pods. They have a restaurant next to the reception. Not a lot to chooses from but good enough. They have a decent buffet breakfast. I think there’s another place where you can eat at the “casa club” but I never visited it. The staff were great!
