"Stay here for the location only and I feel safe because the hotel rooms are older you can tell by the up keep or lack of, the parking is costly you have to pay for breakfast. Stayed on the 3rd floor and all you hear is traffic noise. But like I said stay here only for the proximity to Universal and the safety which of most important."

"The room smells like cigarette. And the odour stayed throughout my 3 nights stay. The hot shower was tricky and once i have managed to get hot water, the water became weak. Parking was USD 30 per day. No laudromat nearby. The TV in the room was nice. Location is convenient as it took less than 5 minutes walk to the walk of fame, diners, Mcdonalds and Starbucks."

My now fiancé had asked beforehand if he proposed there in LA if we would be given anything and they told him we would be given a free bottle of wine. "We stayed one night when we went to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Loved the vibe of the hotel and especially the restaurant, food was delicious… closed down the tiny bar downstairs after our concert which we actually just walked back from. Definitely will stay there for next concert."

"We stayed here for a week with our two children (10 & 8). It was a great location and easy to get in and out - although there are a lot of access codes to remember ! We loved the pool !!!! The washing machine and dryer in our room was brilliant - as was the large fridge/freezer. There is no reception or anyone onsite - everything is done online - but this wasn’t an issue, and they were super quick to respond on email about anything we needed. Would definitely recommend ❤️"

"It was very close to everything which we like. But we were on the ground floor room and you can hear what is going on on the top floor and it can be distracting."

"Good location; rooms are bare-bones but not in a bad way. Walkable to Universal Studios, but beware there is a giant hill to walk up. It can be avoided by taking the shuttle outside the NBC building (I never avoided it). The parking spaces are microscopic, and the night staff is selective about whom they call to move vehicles if they aren’t parked between the lines, so make sure to fold your mirrors."
