Better Than Average L.A. Motel

This has become our go-to place when we need to stay in the Studio City/Universal area of Los Angeles. It's not fancy (very basic furnishings) but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. Staff is friendly and efficient. For an overnight stay in L.A., the rates are very reasonable and you can leave your car parked there at no additional charge.

The folks at the El Royale are so friendly and kind. I stay there several times a year and am always happy with my room, the parking and the service. This is really my favorite place to stay in LA.
