"The bathroom was a wet room as the room allocated was for disabled persons and hence the water covered the entire floor. It was quite disgusting. Breakfast selection was very good. The bar had just one staff member at 4.30pm, so the waiting time to be served was 20mins. Poor staffing for a 350 room hotel. "

"The hotel is not far from the center, between two tram stops. The staff and the amenities are excellent. My room looked on another building, but at last there was no noise of the traffic. The only problem was that I couldn't change the AC, there was a constant cold airflow in the room. All in all, I had a pleasant time in lovely Bilbao."

"This is where I stay every time I come to Bilbao for work. It hits the sweet spot of great location and value. The rooms are large, the service is always excellent and the beds are comfortable. Ask for a room on a higher floor for a quieter experience."

"This hotel is in a great location in the heart of the old quarter of Bilbao. It’s also within easy walking distance of the museum, along the river, and the main shopping district. We arrived a couple of hours before check-in time and were able to leave our luggage with the reception staff, while we had a walk around Bilbao. When we returned later, our luggage had been taken up to our room. The hotel is boutique -style, in an old building that has been given a contemporary makeover internally. We found our room very comfortable and clean, and we were given a couple of cans of complimentary soft drinks, and beer (which don’t get replaced for free once you’ve drunk them), but water is topped up daily, foc. We were also given a voucher for a drink in the bar. I particularly liked the large bathroom with L’occitane toiletries, and the little Juliet balcony, which overlooked one of the old side streets (so it can get a little noisy with bar noise, at night). We had good weather during our stay and it was nice to be able to open the large windows to let air in. The air-con was very quiet during the night, and the layout of the bedrooms meant we didn’t really hear much noise from any neighbouring rooms. There is also a safe in each room, which is always useful for securing valuables/passports etc. The reception staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. On our last day, they allowed us to store our luggage, following check-out, until we needed to collect it late afternoon. "

"American style hotel across the bridge from main city area that is easily walkable. It has an underground parking garage across the street and the old area of the city is right behind the hotel with GREAT dining options. Only complaint is that the bathroom is in the middle of the room with glass walls that are frosted in the middle."

"This is a great choice if you want to explore Bilbao. Location is great, practically annexed to the bus, tram and subway station. You can also walk to most attraction, including the old town (around 2km). Room was big and comfortable. The A/C worked great. Bed was a bit too soft for me. Shower had good pressure. Breakfast was delicious, they will cook your eggs to order. Everything was fresh, several types of bread, cheese and fruits. One downsize was parking. Use have to use the Intermodal parking and pay regular rate. I paid almost 50 euros for 3 days of parking. Overall a good stay."
