"Es ist eine andere Art von Unterkunft. Die Lodge ist etwas urig, mit ihrem eigenen Charme. Man fühlt sich tatsächlich ein bisschen als wäre man bei der Oma/Opa zuhause. Alles war sauber und hat funktioniert. Frühstück ist gemeinsam mit den anderen Gästen an einem großen Esstisch. Wirkt alles sehr familiär. Für 1-2 Nächte zum Wandern im Nationalpark super."

"Wait Staff member in Restaurant taking our breakfast order was outstanding .. great service ethic. Room basic and small especially bathroom but covered what we needed"

"Bed was a bit on the firm side for my liking, one of the soap dispensers had 2 only 2 pumps of soap. Staff were really helpful and nothing was a problem to them."

"Very clean unit and our dishes were washed after our first night. (We had had a very early start that day and didn’t expect it!) Just a comment the soaps in the shower are hard to work when you have your glasses off and didn’t see the “press here” message written on them!"

"Beautiful place to stay in with the meanest view of the mountains!! The owner is very inviting and if you need something she's got you!!!"

"The owner very kind, room is clean, bug kitchen and location not far from Mt. Ruapehu."

"Room looked like it had been recently renovated. Everything was clean and tidy and it was very nice having an adjustable wall heater in the room. Person who showed me around was very friendly and helped answer my questions about the snow fields. The room is not very soundproof so could hear people coming and going to kitchen until quite late into the evening. Also the shared toilet ran out of toiletpaper and there was no one to easily ask for replacement. Overall good place to stay for one...

"We love it here."

"Our hosts were very welcoming and they tended to our every need. My wife even got to play with their kittens! Very nice place and great conversations and breakfast!"

"Was great"

"Great place to stay."

"Great place if need a large accommodation for 7 people. Close to the centre of town."

"Great location to walk to town or to Chateau end, secure, motel large and well equipped. A little dated furniture but overall functional and clean."
