Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"I stayed here 10/15-10/19/26. My overall stay was great! The resort is well kept and esthetically pleasing. I had a swim out and it was very spacious. The bathroom had a water closet with a bidet. The swim out option was perfect for wanting to be in the water but not necessarily in the crowd every time you wanted to swim. And we still enjoyed the music and people watching. Staff a few times didn’t smile and felt cold until you said hello. I also felt like when they didn’t have an answer, they pretended to not speak English lol. The property is going to help you get your steps in and offers a lot of options for food and drinks. The food wasn’t my favorite on the resort but I almost expected it due to mass producing options to keep guests fed at all times of the day. The grill station in the back by the beach was really good. Burgers, hotdogs, and pizza options attached to a bar. Perfect for grabbing a bite and drink as you head to sit along the ocean for a while. Servers do also attend to you. There was a lot of seaweed but I expected it this time of year. Didn’t stop us from getting in and they had trucks riding along to keep it low. Check in and out was smooth."

"The hotel looks and feels newly renovated, mattresses are super comfy, a/c, water pressure and temp all work great. Staff is agreeable and helpful, the food is also delicious, well prepared and presented. Points to improve: 1. Everytime you enter the waterpark you have to fill out and sign a form (just get a one-time signature at check-in). 2. A couple of times we couldn't get service because there was no staff on site...this happened once at the food counter in the waterpark, once in the gym, nobody knew where the staff member had gone. 3. Water park closes at 5pm...way too early. 4. There's no food or snacks from 5pm to 6pm...so coming back hungry from beach, pool or waterpark you have to get cleaned up and dressed to go in one of the restaurants. 7. The hotel does not put an ID on you like most other resorts, wich is great until staff at the beach come to you asking if you're truly a paying guest. 8. They have tour and activities promoters in the main lobby who constantly approach you trying to sell their services, they're really annoying."

"Absolutely loved it. All inclusive resort that also includes amazing hospitality? Wouldn’t have had it any other way. We reserved a preferred swim up and it was just as lovely as I expected. It was rejuvenating experience and made all that much easier with our concierge, Francisco. He was extremely helpful, and it was perfect having someone to answer any questions or ensure any accommodations we needed without evening lifting a finger because he would just spawn like a genie. I’d previously been to Dreams Macao and wanted to come back to another Dreams strictly because of the hospitality, and Onyx did not disappoint. I’d recommend receiving access to breathless, please do not miss out as breathless was an adults only resort. It’s hard to decide what my favorite part about the resort was, but I most definitely enjoyed the private island by the preferred side and the beach oasis. Worth every dollar in my opinion."
