"Very clean room, well organized and separated of toilet & batheoom and wash sink so we dont have to wait when one use it. Good security. Nice staff. Good atmoshhere and environment. Location is closed to the river. Perfect to stay here. We love it and will come back fore sure."

Toutefois, la chambre que nous avons eu était minuscule, peu confortable et extrêmement mal isolée, ce qui fait que tous les soirs, nous entendions les gens dans les autres chambres ou qui bavardaient dans le corridor,. "Friendly staff and walking distance to the center of York. Good around hotel that was full of character."

"It's a convenient location from the city center, only 12 minutes away by walking or so from the old stone wall/gate of the city. The parking is also available behind the building, accessible through the side of the building! Good selection of foods on breakfast menu, however I didn't see any fresh fruits being offered! Everything else is just right"

"A clean room. Our only concern was a few steps to the shower room and we were on the second floor. But we will take this into account when we next book this hotel."

"We stayed here a few times now and always been great. Staff are always nice and willing to help. Little thing was main meal wasn't good but can't knock our stay, can't be perfect all the time. I would recommend it to stay here "

"What a great place to stay. We highly recommend it! Breakfast was excellent. Christina, our breakfast waitress was outstanding. Lots of breakfast choices. The breakfast room was very nice and the table in the window bay was special. Our room was spacious, and the kitchen amenities were complete. There was a small table where we could sit looking on the back garden. The bathroom was also spacious and well done. The decor in the condition of everything was amazing given the age of the building....

"We loved our stay here! Clean and had a great sleep. Brilliant price for somewhere to stay close to York. Carpark was a little full and some bad parking meant it was a space down, but not the owners fault. Highly recommend for an affordable cute little getaway! Would definitely return"

"I was overall pleased either way my stay. I needed something cheap for one night and thus was functional and did the job. It was a bit weird walking through a kitchen to get to the room but not a problem. Good points were it was clean, well equipped fora budget room and pretty central, on the downside it could do with some tlc and parking is awful, however I found you could park free in the hospital multi-storey from 8pm-8am. I’d certainly stay again."
