"We had a wonderful stay at Sierra Sacred Valley, it turned out to be the perfect choice to acclimatize to the high altitude. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, they were genuinely concerned about my altitude sickness (which wasn't that severe, but maybe I looked worse than I felt) and offered some remedies. "Excellent service. 3-year old facility, looks brand new, squeaky clean. Location is uphill and away from restaurants, shops, central sightseeing, so we relaxed and ate in the hotel restaurant that was surprisingly good; thanks to a previous reviewer who recommended the excellent pumpkin soup. Really nice facility, great value for the money."

"I had a wonderful stay at at Andenia Boutique Hotel ! The property is just gorgeous with an incredible garden, with various fruit trees and plants, you can even see hummingbirds if you are lucky. Everything was very confortable, extremely clean and special mention to the shower with proper hot water and pressure (not everywhere in Peru). "I really enjoyed my stay at XO hotel. I was traveling solo and the staff was very considerate in making sure I was comfortable. They serve a light breakfast, with eggs and bacon every morning. "This hotel is a little walk to the historical center but not too bad. The altitude is something you need to watch and many people get the headache and low oxygen saturation levels so you need to take it easy Day 1 and let your body acclimate. The staff was extremely kind and professional. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"We stayed 7 days in this hotel. Our room and bathroom was large. The breakfast was great. The location is good but at high elevation. The service from the staff was excellent. The challenges were the climb from the main square and the heater was not strong enough to cover the large room. However, great experience overall. "
