"Excellent service. 3-year old facility, looks brand new, squeaky clean. Location is uphill and away from restaurants, shops, central sightseeing, so we relaxed and ate in the hotel restaurant that was surprisingly good; thanks to a previous reviewer who recommended the excellent pumpkin soup. Really nice facility, great value for the money."

"The Mamasara staff was amazing and attentive. Unfortunately the area across the street is a little run down. Although breakfast is included, there is no option to eat lunch or dinner in the hotel. However, there are plenty of places to eat within a 5-10 minute short walk down hill. My friend who stayed with me had severe altitude sickness and I had to attend a dinner with a hiking team. "The location is perfect! Easy to find a good restaurant, good cafe, etc. The hotel was nicely decorated but there were many pubs and bars around the hotel. You'll hear the very loud noise until 4-5 am on a weekend night. And If you had bad luck get the room on the 1st floor located near the common area. Another guest will wake you up by a very loud noise by chatting with others since 5 am. However, I love the hotel staff very much. They were so kind, very helpful and super friendly. "
