"While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again."

"The property doesn't respond to repair issues. One short text would have been appreciated. This property is not currently handicapped equipped. There is construction that has closed the elevator to access the pool, beach and restaurant. "

"Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart...

"This has been insane. We had the owner literally try to gaslight us. The gate wouldn’t let us in nor any of our drivers. When we asked the gate worker why they said the owner hasn’t paid his bills in over a month. We have begged this man for 20 days to pay his bills and he said to us „what you think is happening isn’t reality“ like seriously? So we didn’t get told you can’t pay your bills and our drivers are all lying despite the gate themselves saying that’s what’s happening. He’s made no...

"I really liked my room but it was so LOUD at night from the bar or nightclubs. I complained the first night and they said they weren’t aware of anything but then they offered me ear plugs. I was on the city side so I am not sure if the park side would be quieter. I was able to cook breakfast and lunches in the room but I would suggest they add serving bowls and a grater as it was very minimal of what the had. The pool was clean and nice and other than the noise I would recommend it. "
