"Our host Paolo was extremely helpful from before we arrived to even after we left. An invaluable local contact on top of a wonderful, clean room with an amazing balcony where you can have breakfast and coffee. The cleaner Giovanna also cleaned our room everyday. The room is well isolated from the noise outside but sometimes a little noisy in the morning for noise from the breakfast area but this is only a problem for light sleepers. Overall an amazing stay and we will be back!"

"Propriétaire très accueillant ! Très pratique pour un couple qui veut cuisine durant son séjour avec la cuisinette privée. Chambre et toilette spacieusr"

"Very easy to find, and close enough for a short walk from the train station. very clean room and very comfortable bed. A great variety of breakfast options including several freshly baked items. Mariella was very quick and responsive to any questions I had. I would stay again if I am in Palermo."

"Palazzo Achates was perfect for us! It is in the center of old town on a quiet street and has been fully renovated with a beautiful modern minimalist design. I booked the last room available which, was described as small, but it was actually quite roomy and lovely. The owner answered all requests promptly and was wonderfully welcoming! He made us feel assured that the keycard entry to the hotel itself would work smoothly at any hour of the night, and it did. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"Mariella places extreme pride in her properties. She delights in ensuring her customers are contented and able to truly enjoy time both in her apartments and Palermo. She made us feel at home."

"I didn’t mind all of the stairs but people who have difficulties with stairs might not want to stay here. I enjoyed the terrace with views of the old town plus a good place to relax. The breakfast was very good, the woman taking care of everything was so sweet."

"Our stay at Palazzo del Poeta was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. This is truly a five-star boutique hotel where elegance, comfort, history, and exceptional hospitality come together beautifully. Our room was elegant, beautifully appointed, and equipped with every comfort. We especially loved the thoughtful details, including excellent coffee and tea and beautifully decorated Sicilian cookies—a lovely personal touch. The exclusive lounge and dining area, with access to the...

"this is the nicest hotel i have ever stayed at. the interiors and materials are beautiful. the staff was very nice and super helpful. I would visit Palermo again just stay at this hotel again."

"Lovely staff good location. There was a private patio outside our room and our room had all glass wall and cleaners would sit outside in the morning which was very uncomfortable. Lacked privacy. Apart from that all was good."

"Place is beautfiul an right next to restaurants and maqueda street. Its beautiful and clean. Host is responsive and considerate with our late arrival. Down the street next to souvenir shops as well. Close to all tourist locations that are walkable."

"This was a last minute booking and it was difficult to find. You have to go in through this tiny door that opens up into a common area and then up stairs to find the reception desk. Also, they are not there all the time. We had to tell them precisely what time we were arriving so they would be at the desk. The room was clean and nice and it was a great neighborhood."

"Our room has a fun music theme. It was very comfortable. Breakfast, which was included, was delicious and our host Luca was very attentive. There is a lovely terrace where you can have breakfast if the weather is good. The location was perfect for exploring Palermo on foot. Luca gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The rooms are a few stories up so I wouldn’t recommend it for someone who has accessibility problems. For us, it was a perfect location."

"Spotlessly clean room and very comfortable, we stayed in one of the Deluxe Double rooms with a balcony and it was perfect. The owner was really helpful giving us a map and marking interesting things on it for us, the hotel itself is ideally situated within walking distance of much of the old town. We will defintely return there"
