"I had such a great time staying here. Located in a beautiful spot on the hill surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, you will find this cosy spot. I received a bottle of wine from their own vineyard at check in which tasted wonderful and when I opened the door to my room a wave of fresh rosmary smell hit me, this was so pleasant. "La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day. There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

"We wanted a place just outside the Lucca city walls so we could park easily and for free. This place has it! It seems very new and has every amenity we needed, including a mini-fridge.
