"The location of the hotel was very nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the heating system was not functioning in the room whilst cold air was blowing always with a continuous noise even when it was off. Finding a parking spot was a pain, as there wasn’t enough parking spaces there, adding that it was too expensive per night!"

"Good for a reasonably priced stay if you go midweek. Bathroom in my room was a bit odd, had a massive jacuzzi bath with a rainfall shower head over it, no shower curtain or screen.The shower head needed a thorough clean so who knows what state the jacuzzi jets would’ve been in. Seems a very odd choice for a hotel bathroom in a “4*” hotel. Felt a bit seedy motel like. Looking a bit worse for wear in places in what is a magnificent older building with some great features. There was an issue...

"This was lovely hotel with great staff but no elevator which is why I gave it a 4 star rating. The staff were gracious in taking up suitcases and there was an “honesty” lounge on the second floor with drinks and food. One just wrote in a book what you used and paid on checkout. A beautiful breakfast was included. The room and bathroom were newly renovated v8 The location was very walkable to the train station and close to the stadium. "

"Check in was easy and the reception staff said let them know if I needed anything. I wanted green teabags and asked for them over 2 days about 4 times. Eventually, Georgia, the reception supervisor, put them in the room herself, so I had them for my last evening…… I’d asked for a walk-in shower but the water was lukewarm, and, although they said it had been fixed, it hadn’t, so two disappointing showers in 2 days!
